Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
Bieber is on track to be his league’s MVP after earning first-team honors last season. He’s leading his team in points (23.2), rebounds (4.5), assists (4.1), and steals (4.1), and has scored 20+ points in all but three of their 10 games this season. He’s a natural creator, shooting 49% from the field while turning it over just 2.5 times a game. He has a smooth stroke, can attack the rim with strength and some acrobatics, and has Bear Creek looking like a possible top-ten team in 1A.

Bieber has Bear Creek off to a 6-2 start and has been averaging 24.6 ppg so far this winter. He’s had 25+ in five of their eight games, including a 30-point outing in their latest loss to Brewster, where he shot 11-of-20 from the field. He’s the guy who makes their offense go, and while he needs to be aggressive in searching for his shot, he also exhibits some excellent patience to hunt driving lanes and take what the defense is giving him. He has a smooth outside shot that allows him to score from inside and out, and has been off to a hot start in his senior season.

Bieber is probably one of the most underrated players in his class. He’s got a smooth shot from deep, scores pretty efficiently from all three levels, and is his squad’s main playmaker. He has enough size to play with some strength on drives and split defenders, but he really thrives with his finesse at the rim and shooting touch outside. He’s a balanced scorer who was really impressive at the Monroe Jamboree on Wednesday.
