A nice surprise find on the day, Magazzolo looks set to be among the major breakout guards in District 1 this winter. More of an off-ball weapon as a junior, he’s stepping into the lead guard role and looked like a seasoned vet with natural composure at the helm of the Rams’ offense. He showed a steady handle with mature pace and patience while getting the team organized and operating off of ball screens. Magazzolo is able to flow smoothly into deep jumpers with textbook form off the dribble or catch. His added on-ball arsenal makes him a really appealing small-college prospect for coaches to lock in on sooner rather than later.
