Greer played like a coach’s son even if he isn’t one. Simple reads, sound positioning and steady effort defined his day, and there were few possessions where he was out of place.

✅ High floor IQ: makes the right read instead of the flashy one
✅ Takes care of the ball against traps
✅ Positional defender who stays between his man and the rim

Matt is a strong, quick guard that makes crucial plays and decisions all over the floor to get his team closer to victory. I love the patience he displays, letting plays develop and finding his cutters in prime position for easy layups at the hoop. He has strong hands defensively and can snatch the ball in an instant from lazy ballhandlers. His vision is incredible and he never seems to make bad calls when it comes to what he should do next. He can rack up points on the fast break himself, and his dishes off the dribble are laser-like and accurate. He’s not afraid to clean the glass against bigger opponents. I love the textbook way he boxes out.
