Nguyen, a guard out of Medomak Valley High School in Maine, had a coming out party this winter, cementing his place among the top prospects in the state. The 6’3″ guard averaged over 21 points per game, while also showing the ability to fill up a stat sheet with rebounds, assists, and steals. Defensively, his size and lateral mobility allowed him to guard multiple positions, while his athleticism aided in his ability to chase down rebounds in space. Offensively, he thrived as an on-ball creator, capable of finding others off the bounce or getting his own baskets by creating space with the dribble. He’s a capable shooter from behind the arc and in the mid-range and impresses with his creativity as a finisher around the rim. He will continue his academic and athletic careers at Maine-Farmington.
