Murphy is a familiar face already on the PH platform after a standout performance at this year’s PH Carolinas Freshman Showcase. The 6-foot-3 swingman is already off to a fast start on the varsity stage with averages of 9.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He’s fresh off a 24-point outing in a victory over Orange High this past Friday. He’s shown he can hold his own on both the rebounding and scoring front with the Eagles.

Murphy is another sizeable wing at 6-foot-4 to keep eyes on over at Eastern Alamance High in the 2028 class. He does well to space the floor on the perimeter with his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter with his limitless range. He was a standout at The Expo: Carolinas as well as Phenom Hoops NC Frosh 40 as he showcased his ability to knock down shots and rebound on the defensive end.
