About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a catch and drive type of player with decently refined shooting skills. I am working on my ball handling and guard skills daily, and I can handle the ball a bit. I communicate as much as possible on the defensive end and also go for rebounds a lot. In general, I’d say I’m like a shooting guard small forward hybrid.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentality wise I try to hold myself and my teammates accountable and try my best to uplift my peers. I try to live by my faith everyday as well.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe I’ve developed my leadership skills more as in trying to guide others and help my teammates succeed on the court, whether that be redirecting people, reminding them to talk on defense, etc

What type of college are you looking for?

One that will help me create opportunities on and off the court, especially after the ball stops bouncing and I can find a stable job/economic opportunity

Mason impact around the basket stood out immediately. He covered ground well and consistently made plays outside his area on the glass. Defensively, his length and activity disrupted finishes and forced players to adjust shots in traffic. What helped him translate was his ability to move without the ball while still staying connected to rebounding position and defensive responsibilities.
