McGowan had a productive summer, showcasing his offensive versatility and doing a nice job using his size to his advantage. He is a threat to score whenever the ball is in his hands and can put pressure on the defense in a variety of ways. When McGowan gets into a groove, he can be difficult to slow down and has the ability to take over stretches of the game.

Like how McGowan made his presence felt on the interior. He throws his frame around and makes smaller defenders pay. He has some touch around the bucket. McGowan plays with an immense deal of physicality. He was able to get to the foul line. McGowan showed flashes as a creator finding others for scoring looks.

A big body inside & outside threat who left his mark on the game as a shot-maker. McGowan converted on five three pointers in his game high 23 points in a lop-sided victory on Tuesday. He also showed that he can put the ball on the deck. McGowan is an assertive passer who has a nice pulse on the game. I wish he was more active on the glass. 

McGowan is an active bodied forward who plays a lot bigger than his size. He has good awareness and timing and puts himself in proper spots on the floor to be successful. McGowan has an active motor and can guard different positions.
