Expert Analysis
Doneah Marshall | Prep Hoops Scout
Woods had a breakout senior campaign for the Crimsons, having nearly quadrupled his scoring production from the previous season. His two-way play helped lead Manual to the 7th Region semifinals. Whether it was diving for loose balls, helping manage the boards, making plays for others, or filling scoring gaps, Woods gave a little bit of everything in the effort. As he did all season long, he proved himself to be a legit threat off the dribble. Probably most impressive was his confidence creating space for himself and knocking down pull up jumpers in the midrange. He closed out a great season with 14 PTS and 6 REB in the contest.

Woods was the most efficient volume scorer on the court, finishing with 15 points on 6/9 shooting from the field. He did most of his damage in the 1st half, showcasing some extremely smooth handles and footwork. Creating space and getting to his spots in the midrange seemed easy for the senior forward in addition to executing the pick-and-roll very well with Harper. Woods is a legit on ball threat looking ahead at Manual’s post season.

Woods has provided even more veteran leadership for Manual this season. He’s accounted for 11.8 PPG and 5.1 RPG on a well-balanced Crimsons squad. His 61.1% shooting from the field and 47.5% shooting from the 3pt line makes him a constant threat while on the court. Expect Woods to be a key focal point for Male’s defense tonight.
