Expert Analysis
Charles Yates | Prep Hoops Scout
Malik was one of the most ferocious rim attackers I was able to watch on Saturday as he constantly found his way into the paint and either made layups or drew fouls. He was quick to move when his post players set him screens, and he also showed ability to capitalize at the free throw line when he got chances for easy points. His defense was tenacious on the perimeter, and he was a vocal leader for Bellaire when they needed a defensive stopper. He also stepped out and shot a couple three pointers when opposing players gave him room to create his own shot from outside.
