Excellent in transition. Scores the ball off the bounce. He handles the ball surveying the court then exploding to the rim. Extremely quick guard with a nice basketball frame. Has really improved on his shooting the three as well as pulling up to nail jumpers.

Malachi has excellent court vision. Uses his handle and first step to draw the defenders and then kick it to an open shooter or to a player on a duck in. Really nice pull up off the bounce with good lift. Has quick hands when defending the ball.

I was impressed with Malachi at a recent tournament I saw him at. A strong bodied guard who does a lot of everything. Drained a couple of threes off the catch. But also makes his presence felt guarding the ball. He gets his hands in on defections leading to steals and buckets.

Malachi showed a lot of upside at the Expo. He is a crafty guard, that is a good decision maker. He has a high basketball IQ, and knows when to take it himself and when to get his teammates involved. He has a quick first step, and can score off one or 2 feet in the paint. He cuts hard to the basket when he plays away from the ball, creating good high percentage scoring chances. He is a hardworking skilled player. At the showcase he made some nice passes, created his own shot and had a few tough finishes at the rim.
