Explosive Above the Rim

Parson brought legitimate athletic pop to the floor. His ability to elevate and finish above the rim gives him an obvious advantage in transition and around the basket, with room to continue expanding his offensive game.

Parson set the tone for Flight 701 with his do-it-all presence. Known for his physical edge, he made life difficult for opposing scorers while embracing a workhorse mentality on defense. His energy and versatility lifted his team, consistently impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

This is my second tournament seeing Maijor live, as he was in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for Prep Hoops Brawl For The Ball. At the NHR State Tournament Flight 701 out of North Dakota came out with a massive upset Friday night after upending PJ Hoops Jr EYBL 13U in a game that got close down to the wire. Maijor was crucial late in the game, getting to the free throw line at least three times late, making some clutch free throws to seal the victory.

Parson is a versatile two-way talent. Offensively, he has good size, helping him score in the paint and rebound the basketball. He stretches the floor and hits the long ball, and also shows off some great ball-handling skills, making him a skilled playmaker. Parson can beat you off the dribble or catch. Defensively, the forward can guard every position, block shots, and get plenty of steals, too. Parson is a great athlete and the complete package.
