A very big guard, Maddox is one of the sleepers to be the best player in the always competitive 1st region. Mitchell needs to add some weight and bulk to his thin frame but he does have skill and seems to play with a good motor. Certainly a name to monitor for small colleges.

Mitchell is a long, skilled 6’7 shooting guard with a smooth scoring touch and two-way impact. He averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists as a junior, earning All-4th District Tournament honors. A knockdown shooter with deep range and a confident mid-range game, Mitchell can create off the bounce and make reads as a secondary playmaker. Defensively, his length disrupts passing lanes and alters shots, with the ability to guard multiple spots on the floor. Vocal, unselfish, and driven, Mitchell brings leadership and versatility. With his size, shooting ability, and defensive presence, he’s a high-upside wing poised for a breakout senior season.
