I really like what Langel brings to the game whenever he steps onto the floor. He is a true marksman from beyond the arc, and if defenders make the mistake of leaving him open, he will make them pay in a hurry. While his shooting is his calling card, Langel offers more than just perimeter scoring. He is a viable ball handler in a multi-guard lineup and frequently showed the ability to play on the ball, create opportunities, and find teammates for quality scoring looks. Langel also does a nice job starting the break, keeping his head up and delivering passes to lane-fillers in transition. One thing that stood out was his willingness to let the game come to him rather than forcing action that was not there. Defensively, I would like to see him do a better job walling up around the basket and holding his ground when defending in the paint. Offensively, he has a sneaky ability to attack closeouts, and when defenders lose focus or fall asleep, he can quickly blow by them and get to his spots in the mid-range. His combination of shooting, feel, and secondary playmaking makes him a valuable piece and an intriguing prospect moving forward.

Langel leaves his mark on that game as a shot-maker. He is a deadly threat from behind the arc. He found others for scoring chances of their own. I thought he moves well without the ball in his hands while in the half-court. He made the most of his chances at the foul line. Langel can play either guard spots but feel that he is more of a 2 guard when playing with his AAU team. Hoping he can get a tad taller as time goes on.

A sound floor general who makes good reads of the game on the fly, shows the ability to crash the boards, He makes plays off the basketball by setting pindowns that allow his teammates to score as off-ball slashers. He has no problem finding a leaking teammate to start the break and finds them the way a QB finds his wideout. Langel isn’t a speed demon but has the ability to change gears when he is on the attack and can catch defenders when they are lacking and he will get by them. He has good touch from the foul line and makes the most of his chances from there. I really like the way he can play both guard spots, He has nice touch around the bucket. I want to see him not bite on as many ball fakes on defense. He can also get himself caught by overplaying a tad and could use his angles better at times.
