Hoover is a dangerous perimeter shooter who can heat up quickly from three and finds different ways to put the ball in the basket. When he gets into a rhythm, he can be difficult to contain and puts pressure on the defense with his shooting ability. He consistently finds himself in good spots to convert easy scoring opportunities around the basket. Moving forward, I would like to see Hoover quicken his release, as longer and more athletic defenders could make it tougher for him to get clean looks. He also brings good energy to the floor and finds ways to impact the game beyond his scoring.
