Shafer is a strong driver and gets into the paint to make plays for himself or others. He’s solid defensively and on the glass. Offensively, he can get to the rim for easy looks or knock down catch-and-shoot threes. In the 3v3 section, Shafer was very effective in a two-man game with Kapaun forward
