The uber athletic guard from South Fort Myers, Soto Mayer, will be a key piece for the Wolfpack in 2025-26. He is a lightning quick guard, with an explosive first step who likes to attack the basket. The 5’11” PG is a flashy player with great handles, who sees the court very well. He has a solid jumper and can knock down the 3-ball when open. Soto Mayer is a feisty defender, who looks to force turnovers and get out and run in the transition game.

Soto Mayer had himself quite the season is this his sophomore year, averaging 13.8 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.7 apg, and 1.8 spg. The super athletic PG went on a stretch of scoring in double-figures for 14-straight games, including a season-high 24 points in a win over ECS. Soto Mayer has a quick first step and likes to attack the basket, but can also hurt you from deep where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. He can be a pest on defense and also rebounds the ball very well from the guard position.
