Let’s start with the defense that we see. Florence has almost a handful of steals. He sees the action and jumps the passing lanes picking up steals. Florence shows that he can be very effective as a cutter. He has strong hands on the move and can score in traffic. Florence shows the ability to score from multiple levels.

Florence is a player that I’ve been very familiar with for a very long time. He’s a great young man that would be a bonus to any program. And I saw him go toe to toe with some big name players this spring. Florence could really put himself on the map at The Expo.

Florence made a big impact on the defensive end of the floor. He was just a really solid wing defender throughout the event. Florence used good positioning and his high IQ game to help get big stops.

Florence is a high percentage shooter that doesn’t need high volume to have his jumper be a factor. He simply just connected on a very high percentage, aided by the fact that he recognizes good looks at the rim. I saw Florence hit multiple big jumpers in big moments over the weekend.

Florence could have gone in the guard preview as well, but I like the way he looks as a wing prospect. I’ve been lucky enough to know Levi and his game since early middle school. He’s as tough as they come and a true 2 way player. Florence would be a big program addition on and off the floor.

Florence is a wing to watch in the class of 2026. He’s a very high IQ player that kept and keeps mental mistakes to a minimum. Florence is willing and able to take on whatever role is needed. I liked the way he passed and moved the ball when I saw him play. Florence gave us a look at his shooting when he connected on a deep wing 3 with a hand in his face.
