The second quarter made up the difference in the game, with Lewisburg going on a 22-4 run spurred on by an offensive outburst from Tucker beyond the arc. A sharpshooting sophomore, he shook free to knock down four 3’s in the quarter with five total before halftime. He displayed a lightning-quick release with deep range off the catch while staying in constant motion to find his way to open space despite defenses keying in on him. Tucker is still slender but is long and rangy with some vertical pop and quickness on his feet, showing steady competitiveness in the floor game. He has to strengthen his handle to be able to better complement his shooting but his ability to shift a game on limited bounces should give him real value moving forward as he grows into his frame.

He finished with 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers. When his feet are set, there’s a high chance the shot is going in, and he consistently hunts scoring opportunities. I liked how he used his length on the defensive end of the floor. Tucker also appears to be growing into his frame nicely as time goes on. Tucker was an effective screen assister for teammates and showed flashes of passing, finding others for scoring chances. 

Tucker is an all-around guard who impacted the game in a multitude of different ways. His rangy limbs allowed to to get rebounds, steals or blocks. He has a good grasp of the game and was able to read and react to different situations on the fly. I like how he had no issue finding others for scoring chances of their own. Tucker has the ability to put the ball on the deck and get to different spots off the bounce. He is a prospect I will have close eyes on during the upcoming season.
