Ok, I watched Sotiropoulos play from when he was in like 5th grade. I was so excited to see the player that he’d become last fall. He has some impressive guard skills that allow him to handle and pass like a point, but also play off the ball. Sotiropoulos brings effort and heart to both ends of the floor. I’d love for him to show everyone at The Expo that he’s a next level talent.

I’ve actually known and seen Sotiropoulus for a very long time. That makes it really cool to see what a tremendous basketball player he’s becoming. I said ‘becoming’ not ‘become’, because I don’t think he’s done yet. Sotiropoulus plays an unselfish game and is a good and willing passer. I’ve seen him shoot and score. I know he can, but he’s never going to force it for the sake of getting a bucket.

Sotiropoulos is a sophomore that features a game that’s mature beyond his years. He makes the right pass at the right time and just generally makes smart decisions with the ball.

Sometimes that stat sheet lies. I think this is the case from last night. Sotiropoulos had a huge influence on this game. He finished the night with 7 points, but at least 5 of those came in the last 7:20 of the game, 3 coming off a triple that pulled Saline within a possession. Sotiropoulos is a high IQ player that makes really good decisions with the ball.

Saline will be a young team in terms of age and experience, but Sotiropoulos has to have them excited about the future. He’s an excellent decision maker that sees the action on the floor. Sotiropoulos gets the ball to it’s spots in a high percentage manner.

Apparently the Sophomore ID Camp is the place to be in the fall, because Sotiropoulos is another player that earned a ranking at the camp. Decision making and high percentage basketball wins games and Sotiropoulos does both. He has the makings of a really efficient lead guard that gets the ball where it needs to be.

Sotiropoulos was VERY impressive in Grand Rapids. He played a mature lead guard game, keeping mental mistakes to a minimum and making great decisions with the ball. I’d certainly trust it in his hands.

Sotiropoulos is a talented point guard that could have a nig impact this season. He’s a name some might not have heard yet, but they will soon. Like this weekend. Sotiropoulos can attack off the bounce with both hands and has a knack for finding the paint. He has good vision and touch on his passes once he gets there.
