Berg got an offer from Hillsdale College. Berg has been super impressive over the last few months. I’ve seen him hoop on multiple occasions in that time frame and I came away impressed every single time. He’s a physically strong wing that will adjust nicely to the physical nature of college ball. Berg knows how to use his body and can attack straight line through contact.

I was really looking forward to seeing Berg play and he sure didn’t disappoint. I thought that he was one of the most impressive players in the gym honestly. He has a strong frame and he uses it really well when going to the rim. Berg is a fearless cutter that will find a lane and attack it without the ball. He converted on at least one cut-catch-score opportunity. Berg can flat out shoot the ball as well. His jumper looked pure and he had definite 3 point range on it.

I just saw Berg play at the Hillsdale College Elite Camp. That being said, it just made me want to see him play again at The Expo. Berg was really solid in Hillsdale and I think he can at least match that performance in Grand Rapids. He has next level height, frame and ball skills.

I love kids that can grab attention at an elite camp with their PASSING! Similar to Murphy above, that’s just what Berg did. He hit his spots with the pass and got them there on time. Berg was especially effective using the bounce pass to both feed the paint and hit cutters. He also showed nice touch on the offensive end, specifically with flip in over the top of a defender.

Berg is an exciting addition to the list of ranked players. I like his versatility as a forward. He has good length and score from multiple spots on the floor. Berg can be a very tough matchup. He can play off the perimeter as well as utilize a solid mid range game and take smaller defenders near the rim.
