The forward definitely caught my eye in this game. He’s a player that you have to see live to see his true influence on a game. Seck was excellent defensively and on the glass. He had the ability to alter shots and end possessions. Seck is a bouncy forward that should be getting next level looks.

Seck is an athletic forward to could be a key to a Skyline run at districts. He’ll be a very tough matchup with his height, length and bounce.

I really like Seck’s upside as a player and prospect. He’s come a long way just this season. The bouncy forward was active on the glass throughout the game. Seck did a great job finding space and making himself available for the dump off pass.

Seck is a rising prospect that has shown a lot of upside. He’s a bouncy forward that can make some very athletic plays. I liked when Seck looked for lanes and double lanes to the rim and attacked them, with or without the ball. He has the ability to catch the defense on rotations and make them pay.

I was lucky enough to do a private workout with Seck last summer. I was so excited about his athleticism, work ethic and upside. He’s getting coached very well at Ann Arbor Skyline and that combined with his hard work has him maximizing his potential. Seck can play bigger than his height and has the potential to be a dangerous rim runner.

I had the opportunity to run a workout with Seck this past summer and I’m looking forward to watching him play. I came away so impressed with a few aspects of his game. First, he’s a willing worker when the gym is empty. Seck is a bouncy athlete with a ton of upside.

POST MOVES
Seck is very confident playing with his back to the basket. His bounciness and quickness allowed him to make some fast and definitive post moves. Seck really thrived with the up and under. The move was smooth and I think he’d do a nice job drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. Seck was very effective attacking off the block and finishing with authority over both shoulders.
FINISHING
Seck could become a dangerous finisher, He’s an athletic 6-4 and can finish at the rim. He showed the ability to use a power finish as well as use creativity and finesse. He had strong hands that gave him control of the ball through the finish.
SHOOTING
Seck could really turn his mid range game into a weapon. With his ability to finish, he could really cause problems for defenders with a pull up mid range jumper. We worked on shooting off concise dribble moves and he showed the ability to get space and connect on the jumper.
FREE THROWS
I tested Seck’s free throw shooting multiple times after high intensity drills. He actually got better as they night went on. Good sign. At the end of an hour and a half workout, Seck connected on 8-10 from the stripe. With his potential of getting to the line with his work on the block, being a high percentage free throw shooter is a great trait for him to have.
COACHABILITY
They’ve got something cooking at Ann Arbor Skyline with some great young men in their program. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen 3 of their young players extensively, and coachability is a strong suit for all of them including Seck. He was focused and determined throughout the workout. Calling him very engaged would be an accurate description. Seck clearly wanted to get better, keeping eye contact through verbal exchanges and putting advice to work immediately.
NOTES
All of this doesn’t even include what is known to be his strength – defense. Seck is a willing and able defender. He’s a bona fide rim protector that uses his bounciness and verticality to send a lot of shots back.
