About Larry

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A high energy guard who can play off the catch, hit big-time shots, uplift their teammates, play with and without the ball, and make the right reads on offense and defense .

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Relentless, Next play mentality. A mentality to be great and get me to the next level. I love my family and friends but keep God number one, no matter what I’m true to myself and my goals .

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am top 12% in my grade, I am in track and field, cross country, planning to do volleyball and football. I also am an avid volunteer and help out at the hospital and church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at the hospital and church, and continue to help the community in my free time; for example I gave food to the homeless this Thanksgiving. I also uplift my teammates when they’re down and hype up the bench. I was one of the team captains on my high school team this year and helped us to a 9-8 record.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started basketball late in 8th grade, so I would consider that a challenge . But nothing is a challenge if you work hard enough for it .

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that can integrate my academics and playing and one I could thrive in if I do or do not play basketball.
