About Landon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am currently a 6’-7” power forward, 195 pounds, with an 80” wingspan. I pride myself on my athleticism, quick footwork, soft hands, and high basketball IQ, along with a strong commitment to improving my game every day.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hard working and passionate leader that has a team first mentality with the goal of making everyone around me better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ll be a member of the Medina County Junior Leadership and in Huddle as well next year as a junior.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned through years of playing basketball, how to communicate and work together well with teammates along with how to read them. I feel that I am very soft spoken and can positively influence people through my actions and can be a leader by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This year I was the only underclassmen that started on my varsity basketball team. There were a lot of challenges for me gaining the upperclassmen’s trust and acceptance. Throughout the season I was able to persevere and elevate my game to contribute to our team and earn their respect. I needed up leading my team in points and rebounds, averaging 14pts and 8 rebounds per game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a college that has a strong business/finance program that challenges me both academically and athletically.
