Bit-by-bit, Riley-Garlick chipped away at Sallies to put Dub P in position to win. Without any splash plays, he created extra possession with his offensive rebounds, facilitated from different spots on the floor, and forced the offense into tough shots. And when his team needed points of their own, Riley-Garlick made that happen too, with bruising post-ups and drives. He totalled 15 points, 10 boards, 4 assists, and 3 stocks (2s 1b).

Riley-Garlick is a strong combo guard, able to pass and rebound at high level on offense, as well as make impact plays as a help defender. Extending the range on his jumper would enhance his effectiveness off-the-catch.

First or second on his team in every statistical category, “Birdie” initiated and finished a ton of plays for the Colonials. His team defense was excellent for his size too, able to cut off drivers, alter shots inside, and crash the boards.
