Green was phenomenal in this one. finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds. His ability to provide stability inside as both a back to the basket player and cutter was a big key to the Warriors success. The ability of Kyler to work away from the ball and create solid positioning as the ball worked back to his side of the floor was evident early and often. Defensively, he routinely snagged rebounds that limited the Eagles to one chance. Adair needed every single ounce of the effort he provided. The sophomore gave us the moment of the night. With his team trailing 66-65 and only five seconds remaining, Green set a screen on a baseline out of bounds play and then flashed back to the rim, converting the game-winning layup.

A long term name to track, Green is raw but the traits are there. Already in the 6’4 to 6’5 range but with a true guard’s game. Can put it on the floor and get to spots in the mid-range. Currently not that athletic relative to the next level. But has the signs of a youngster who’s still growing and his knees are likely giving him growing pains most days. A multi-sport standout, if he chooses basketball he is the type of prospect that has the ceiling to come out of “nowhere” and shock the state.
