Kye showed a good feel for using the threat of his jumper to create more than a perimeter attempt. He knocked down open looks and threes, then used shot fakes to open driving lanes and get to his midrange floater. He was also willing to make the extra pass once he entered the lane, which kept his scoring threat connected to opportunities for teammates. A transition assist added another example of that unselfish approach. His offensive value comes from making defenders honor the shot and then choosing the right response. Continuing to strengthen those reads against quicker closeouts will help his game keep growing.
