Expert Analysis
Melvin Gates | Prep Hoops Scout
Entering his senior season as the lead guard for the Cougars, Thornton looks poised to help keep his team in the mix among the Big Eight’s middle of pack contenders. He brings high energy and a positive leader presence, but his ability to create his own shot is what stands out most to me. With one final season ahead of him, expect Thornton to leave it all on the floor.
