Kendrick has all the physical tools you wanna see in a prospect. At 6’5, you can tell Patterson is a football player, having really added muscle over the past few years. On top of that is great overall athleticism, making him a hard guard for any defender. He’s flashed the ability to stretch the floor. That being said, he’s most dangerous attacking the rim and getting out in the fast break. The forward is a good defender and can overcome taller defenders with great strength in the post. With all these attributes, Patterson has an extremely high ceiling.

Patterson’s upside is one of the biggest reasons he’s climbing. The length, athleticism, and positional size are already there, and the offensive confidence is starting to catch up. He rebounds, defends multiple spots, and has the physical profile of a long‑term wing prospect. If the handle tightens and the jumper becomes more consistent, he’s a candidate to make one of the bigger jumps.
