An extremely athletic prospect for a kid his size, Akins, effects the game in a number of ways, both offensively and defensively. He has a great wingspan, where he can block and alter shots, and also get his hands in the passing lanes and turn defense into offense. He is an excellent rebounder on both ends of the court, and thrives in the transition game where he can get out and run. Akins has a ton of upside and should be on every coaches radar.
