George had some highlight reel finishes at the rim and gets off the floor quickly overall. He battled the Christ the King bigs around the basket and showed that he can guard out on the perimeter as well. He racked up 5 blocks in a hard fought loss- and more importantly, looks ready to make a real impact for Eagle this season.

George has been the in the news lately because of his decision to transfer to Eagle Academy in the Bronx and his strong start. He instantly becomes one of the most dynamic forwards in the PSAL, he’s exactly what this team needs and they are already seeing results. This outstanding shot blocker is bringing attitude, toughness, physicality, a ton of defense and non stop energy. Eagle fans are buzzing and they aren’t the only ones to notice as Queens College decided to offer. The local Division 2 deserves credit because George’s stock is definitely on the rise.

The former Mount rim protector announced on his social media that he will be headed to Eagle Bronx to join the PSAL champs. He instantly makes an impact on their front court and should compete for minutes right away. His skillset is a bit unique from the rest of the roster and this coaching staff will really benefit from it. George adds size, a shot blocker, a tremendous rebounder and versatile big. Love the move.
