Kai put his impressive potential on display against MN Swish . While playing up at the 16u level, Kai showed he can handle the ball, drop dimes in transition, and finish at the rim in a number of ways. Now listed at 6’8, Kai came flying down the lane for an explosive dunk in the first half, showing impressive athleticism at his size. Becker is a fluid athlete who has no problem moving his feet with smaller guards, and can cause a lot of issues with his length up in the passing lanes. He’ll be one to keep an eye on over the next few years.

Kai has one of the highest ceilings out of players I saw over the weekend. Playing up a grade at the 14u level, Kai stands at 6’3 with limitless confidence from beyond the arc. He fits the mold of a long and lanky wing who can change the tide of a game with his outside shooting. Leave him a bit of space, and Kai is going to let it fly, and once he gets into a rhythm he can put points on the board in a hurry. Looking forward to seeing how Kai continues to grow as a player over the next few years.
