I recently caught Davis at the Hoop Herald Classic and he looked like a scholarship level prospect in an impressive scoring effort. Playing off two feet and getting to his spots, I thought Davis scoring ability was translatable to the college level. Already putting up big time scoring numbers at the high school level, Davis is another prospect who should see a big spike in his recruitment this spring and summer.

The host Blue Devils have a very intriguing 2025 prospect with Davis, a wing guard who can really shoot it. Since last watching Davis in the spring, I thought he looked more explosive and had improved his body. Taking a clear step athletically during this crucial development time, I expect Davis to receive a bunch of scholarship interest next spring and summer. A sleeper prospect in northeast Ohio that not many fans know about.

A sleeper in northeast Ohio, Davis is an impressive shooter who had a strong spring with Team Wildcat 16 U. A guy who can get hot from the outside in a hurry, Davis has a quick release from the outside. Would like to see Davis get to the rim more in the half-court and with his shooting ability, positional size and strength, he should be able to develop this skill down the road. One of the top players in his conference as an underclassman, Davis will be a household name in northeast Ohio by the end of his Junior year.

Another standout on Team Wildcat HGSL 16 U, Davis is more of a wing guard than a lead guard, but still fits the criteria for this article. I was impressed with his outside shooting ability, letting it fly from down-town early and often. A dangerous shooter off the catch, Davis moved well without the ball and showed no hesitation when one of his guards fed him the rock with his feet set. I was also impressed by Davis ability to play bigger than his height with a strong frame and impressive motor on the glass and defending in the post. I think the biggest area of improvement for Davis will be attacking the rim in the half-court, he has the physical tools to get all the way in the paint on drives and be a threat when attacking downhill.
