Kacy was giving it his all on Friday night, but he and RIT Elite just came up short in their attempted upset over Minnesota Select . The unsigned senior racked up 24 points in the tight loss, bringing it on offense and defense. He really impressed me with his ability to attack the basket and finish through contact, being able to contort his body to avoid being blocked. The 6’1” guard also proved himself as a reliable ball handler, making smart plays to maximize possessions. Tesch is another guy who impressed me back in April as well.

Kacy was putting on a show with his scoring arsenal on Sunday. The unsigned senior has limitless range and connected with several three-pointers deep behind the arc. He also did damage getting to his spots in the mid-range. Tesch has a really good handle and can make super quick movements to blow right by his defender. From the perimeter, he was automatic off the catch and off the dribble, but I really liked what he did attacking the basket as well. He showed great control and hang time with some impressive reverse layups in traffic. Another unsigned senior who shined on the final day of Madness in the Midwest.
