About Justus

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

This is my first year playing AAU. So far my coach has talked about the importance of defense. I’d say my gameplay style is what requires me to play as a big man, trying to secure the paint from offenders.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m humble, stay to myself, and overall I’m not aggressive until it’s time to hit the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Currently I’m only involved at Fireball Academy on the FBP Elite 2031 team. So far I enjoy it and I’m glad I joined an AAU team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since starting AAU I’ve developed a lot of skills. I’ve become more confident in less than 30 days with my skills on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, when I played school basketball, I wasn’t as confident in my abilities. Since joining AAU, my coach and teammates make me feel like a part of the team and encouraged. Also, Im coming out of my shell and learning to be aggressive on the court more.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that has a great basketball program, has diversity, and that will support me and my goals.
