Julian is a tough backcourt talent who showed the ability to create offense off the bounce while making an impact on both ends of the floor. He was comfortable creating his own looks and proved capable of making difficult shots when possessions broke down. However, there was more to his game than shot-making. He showed good decision-making in transition, playing with his head up and recognizing when to attack, advance the ball, or create an opportunity for a teammate. His two-way approach also stood out, as he competed defensively and remained engaged away from the ball. Continuing to develop his consistency as a perimeter shooter and playmaker will only strengthen him as a guard who already possesses toughness, shot-creation ability, and instincts with the ball.
