About Josiah

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

I am a competitive, defensive -minded combo guard who impacts the game with on-ball defense playmaking,and efficient scoring. I like to involve my teammates first, but can create offense and knock down shots when needed. My overall toughness, competitiveness, and willingness to defend gives me a great value that is beyond what a box score or stat sheet can show.

What are you working to improve right now?

I am working on ball handling and communication with my teammates more consistently .

What are you looking for in a college program?

I'm looking for a program that values defense,toughness,teamwork, and player development. I want to compete at a high level,contribute as a defensive-minded combo guard who can score and create for teammates, while earning my degree in Sports Management and becoming the best player and person I can be.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of basketball, I'm a hardworking and determined student who takes my academics seriously. I have a 3.8 GPA, I'm interested in Sports Management, and I'm always looking to improve myself. I also value family, respect, discipline, and being a positive teammate and person on and off the court.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I want to study Sports Management because I'm interested in the business side of sports. My career interests include working in sports administration, athletic operations, or eventually helping manage and lead sports programs.
