About Josiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive player who loves to get to the rim. I can knock down mid range and three-point shots at a high level. I am a vocal leader who can guard any 5 positions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to do whatever it takes to help my team to win. I am very loud in the court and will play my heart out.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have recieved Honor Role 9 times within 7 grades.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I like to be vocal and always want to be known as a leader on the court. I also like to be known off the court as well. I am always being respectful to my friends, teachers, parents, and adults. I also like to indulge in activities that help the community wether I am giving compliments to someone, or helping a classmate with homework, I love to be there to help somebody out.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I first started playing basketball in the sixth grade, I was one of the worst on any team I played on. I have had to put blood, sweat, and tears into this sport and have excelled past my peers. As far as making it to camps or events like that, money has been the problem. Financially, basketball has been a struggle. I fundraise alot to get to camps or tournaments. I raised 700$ for CP3NMSC.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for any college from JUCO-D1. I prefer to be a D1 athlete though, I want to play professionally anywhere.
