Lewis is another major prospect who put his skillset on display during the tournament. The 6’7″ Iowa commit can score on all 3-levels and has a real gift for filling the stat sheet and putting numbers on the board. He has tremendous size, strength, and athleticism and plays the game hard, never taking a play off. He has the ability to guard any position on the floor and is an excellent rebounder on the both ends of the court. Lewis likes to attack the basket and finish above the rim with some highlight reel dunks.

It will only take about five minutes of watching this young man to see why he is so highly touted. He is long and lanky, with arms and wingspan that are a weapon all on their own. Now, couple that with his energy getting up and down the court and his good athleticism, and you have a DI-level prospect on your hands. Outside of his God-given attributes, things that stand out are his ability to block shots at the rim and jump shots on the perimeter, his ability to help on defense and cover a large amount of ground, and his quick hands and deflections that lead to steals. He is an obvious lob threat on the offensive end, but he also has a smooth jump shot that forces you to respect him no matter where he is on the court.

Lewis is a true two-way talent with the skill set to dominate at the next level. Offensively, he’s a mid-range assassin with the ability to finish through contact at the rim. Defensively, his length and athleticism make him a force in the paint and on the perimeter. Whether he’s blocking shots, grabbing rebounds, or leading the break, Lewis impacts the game in every phase. With offers from Cincinnati, Ole Miss, and South Florida, he’s already on the radar, but his ceiling suggests even more high-major interest could be coming.

On the offensive end, Lewis makes most of his work from the mid-range, where he finishes efficiently around the rim through traffic. The 6-7 junior forward was electrifying to watch as he was making plays with and without the basketball in his hands. He has a multi-level skillset where he is smooth around the rim playing with a soft touch. Lewis displayed his length and athleticism on the defensive end where he was getting deflections which led to fast break points on the other end. Look for Lewis to have more upside as the season rolls on as he’s received several offers from numerous Power 5 schools.

Lewis impacts the game with his strength and length on the floor getting to the front of the rim without hesitation.
