Lanier is an intriguing young combo guard with a smooth outside stroke. He’s shown flashes of deep range and the ability to rise over defenders, giving him a natural scoring advantage. His willingness to find open windows on the perimeter shows a developing understanding of spacing. If he continues to refine his handle and decision-making, Lanier has the tools to become a perimeter scorer who can play on or off the ball.
