About Joshua

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A dynamic, 3-level scorer and high-IQ floor general who plays as a versatile offensive threat capable of finishing strong at the rim, knocking down mid-range jumpers, or creating space beyond the perimeter. Beyond scoring, I specialize in game manipulation—handling intense ball pressure to control the tempo and making quick reads. I am a high-efficiency playmaker who limits TO.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

High-motor guard with a Next Play Mentality. Focused on winning the current possession and leading with relentless energy. Whether up 20 or down 20, I compete with maximum heart and hustle until the clock hits 0:00.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

- I have competed at the Varsity level with Takoma Select, contributing to a Force One Championship (Varsity Division) title. Currently competing with Takoma Select 2030 (AAU/E32 Jr). - Starting Center for a dominant Undefeated Season with Benjamin Banneker Middle, showcasing the ability to play multiple positions and impact the game alongside elite talent like Gabriel Weeks and Elijah Amissah.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

- Playing alongside high-level players like Dylan Higginbotham requires elite teamwork. I've learned how to find easy shots, make surgical reads, and get down on D. This requires me to constantly communicate and see the floor two steps ahead of everybody. - I've developed the ability to stay calm when the game is on the line, handling ball pressure and manipulating the game in the 4th quarter.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

- Competed in MADE Hoops East Session 1 (2030), performing against top-tier players & teams while adapting to the elite pace and athleticism. - High School Integration: Proven winner in Varsity and JV environments, including the Largo Fall Varsity League (Lost in Championship), Hoopbuzz JV league (Lost in Semi-Final), and Force One Varsity league (Won Championship)

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a collegiate program that prioritizes player development and a high-performance culture. My goal is to join a program where I can catalyze team success—using my relentless finishing and high IQ. playmaking and a "Next Play" mentality to help the people around me excel.
