Gayle is a strong, athletic prospect and an excellent 2-way player. The 6’4″ CG is a 3-level scorer, who when he gets hot, seems to be an unstoppable force at times. He has a smooth stroke from the outside, but is also a tremendous slasher who can finish at the rim. He is excellent in transition and has solid court vision where he looks to get his teammates involved. Gayle is a huge asset on the boards for Central, and defensively he has the ability to guard any position when he’s on the floor.

Joseph Gayle, A 6-4 junior combo guard who does a great job at playing under control at both ends of the floor. He is smooth around the rim where he can finish on both sides as well as making some creative moves off the bounce. His perimeter shooting is starting to gain more consistency as well as his ability to shoot off the catch. On the defensive end, Gayle is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions with his length and athleticism. He is at his best when he is harassing opposing ball-handlers as well as being active in the passing lanes. Excited to see Gayle continue to round out his game and see college coaches on his radar.
