Another recent transfer who we’ll get a first look at this weekend, Richardson just relocated to the area with his dad taking an assistant coaching position at Lincoln University. There’s not much of an established track record but he brings top-end size and length to the frontcourt with two years left to develop in a Whippets program that’s produced its fair share of D1 talent in recent years. Bloodlines are in Richardson’s favor as well, with his dad being a former McDonald’s All-American who went on to play at Florida State. It should be interesting to evaluate him up close to see just how far along he is in his development, but the tools are there to be able to at least make an impact in District 1.
