Jelani Walker | Prep Hoops Scout
The floor general for a strong Future Legends squad, Harris did a great job controlling the tempo while consistently pushing the pace in transition. He created multiple scoring opportunities for his teammates with his vision and playmaking ability, while also showing he can create separation off the dribble and score when needed. Harris attacked the basket with confidence, finishing through traffic. With his handle, feel for the game, and ability to both facilitate, he proved to be a steady, reliable lead guard who dictated the flow throughout.

Harris had a big 3-pointer late in one of the 5 on 5 games that his team played, coming up clutch when it counted. Harris did a nice job of generating good looks for himself by making smart drives, moving without the ball and playing hard. I thought Harris could’ve had even more points if he hit a couple easy shots he got himself. When you can consistently create open shot attempts, you’ll give yourself the opportunity to improve your efficiency and Harris showed the potential to be an efficient guard with further development as he started to catch fire from downtown as camp was wrapping up. I also appreciated his unselfishness, making the simple pass to an open teammate routinely.
