26p 2r 2s (6/8 3P) vs John Carroll
-Took advantage of some extended playing time to really fill it up for a Calvert Hall that needed his production. Nalty started it off with a stepback 3 from the wing then hit two more C+S looks from beyond the arc in the first few minutes of the game. Nalty then scored off a rip through drive and layup at the rim, a baseline floater that hit nothing but net, got his defender off balance with the jab step before hitting the 1-dribble pull-up middie from the wing. Nalty also impacted the game defensively, ripping away a steal on a great dig from the backside baseline on one play and poking out another steal on-ball before going C2C for the lay. Could’ve extended a career high night if he didn’t injure his ankle midway through the 4Q.

-Undersized but explosive PG that initiates contact at both ends of the floor and fights hard over screens defensively. A great POA defender who showed the “want-to” and positioning IQ needed to cut off his opponent’s trips to the basket, he sets the tone defensively for a young and rebuilding Calvert Hall team. Nalty knocked down a 3 off the catch, showed his speed on a runout for a transition layup, hit his defender with a nice crossover into the left-handed layup off glass, and showed the afore-mentioned defensive grit that college coaches love seeing.
