Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Sullivan is an awesome two-way player who can score from all three levels and has way better athleticism than you’d think given his size and build. The 6-foot-1 guard has excellent instincts in the passing lanes and gets tons of breakaway steals, but he can also get into the paint in the half court for crafty finishes. And, he has really good footwork coming off screens and a quick, consistent shot release when the defense doesn’t get a hand up. Reminds me of Reed Sheppard.

Checking in at #231 overall and #46 among the shooting guards, Sullivan is athletic, competitive, and tough – traits that allow him to make a two-way impact on the basketball court. A standout on the gridiron, his toughness shines through as a driver that’s willing to mix it up around the rim. He does a nice job of making plays off the bounce, has good burst in the open floor, and can make shots in catch and shoot situations. He rebounds well from the guard position and can defender any of three spots on the perimeter. He’s going to be an attractive prospect for D3s throughout New England and should make a program at that level better.

Sullivan, a versatile scorer from Tewksbury, appears in the rankings for the first time as a member of the Watch List. One of the top juniors in the MIAA this winter, he’s a stat sheet stuffer that can play on or off the ball on the offensive end of the floor. He does a nice job of getting to his spots off the bounce, can score at the 1st and 3rd levels, and makes good decisions as a passer. A quality football player, he brings some of that gridiron toughness to the court, making plays for loose balls and rebounding aggressively on the defensive end of the floor.
