Hudson IV emerged as one of the top scorers in the state this season and then held his own against some high-level competition on Sunday at the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout. The 6’3″ long, lean, athletic senior guard is an excellent jump shooter with a pop of athleticism when finishing at the rim. He remains an intriguing offensive weapon still on the board in the Class of 2026.

Just days later on February 5, he reached his 100th career point—needing only 11 entering the game, hitting the milestone in the first half, and finishing with 30 points, seven rebounds, and another flawless night at the line, going 8-for-8.

Hudson IV has largely flown under-the-radar despite being a 6’3″ guard with good grades and some real offensive talent. The unsigned senior guard posted 29 points and 8 rebounds in a loss at Bowman Academy on Tuesday and is now averaging 23.7 points and 6.2 rebounds on the season.

Hudson IV poured in 40 points on Tuesday night, but Calumet feel to Victory Christian Academy 75-67. The talented 6’3″ guard also chipped in 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He should continue to garner more college interest throughout the winter.

One of the most talented playmakers in the senior class that you may not have heard of his this 6’3″ guard from Calumet New Tech High School. Hudson IV averaged 15.5 points and 7.9 rebounds as a junior and made 43 three-point shots at a 33.6% clip. His ability to consistently create his own shot from all three levels, coupled with impressive positional size, makes him an intriguing prospect for the next level. Look for Hudson IV to have a big senior year up in The Region and garner some more college interest.

We have just started getting a feel for how good this under-the-radar star from Calumet High School is. Hudson IV went off for some massive scoring outputs at the Charlie Hughes Showcase and that is after averaging 15.5 points per game as a junior. The bigger, athletic guard can flat out fill it up and is more than deserving of cracking the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 100. College coaches should make it a point to evaluate him in July.
