Over the weekend, Carrico showed his IQ on defense, as well as his physicality on both ends. He rebounded well by fighting for positioning with his box outs. He was able to score with power on the low block using some back-to-the-basket shots. On defense, he showed his IQ on the help side as he was vocal, helping teammates, also making sure he rotated to change shots at the rim.

JP is a mountain of potential. He has the ability to roam the paint with good fundamental defense. He clogs the paint for slashers and cutters bothering them as they look to score or get in position. He can rebound decently due to his size. He is a post presence that can flash high to the elbow and create tough situations for zone defenses. Look forward to him growing as an offensive threat and gaining some more athleticism with his speed and jumping ability.
