One of the best wing shooters in Ohio, Johnson is dangerous as a spot-up or pick and fade shooter. Johnson was making some tough shots from downtown and a pair of his 3-pointers helped keep OBC alive for the entirety of the game. I like that Johnson can make a big impact playing without the ball in his hands.

Already holding Division I football offers to Kentucky, Toledo and Miami (OH) it seems safe to say Johnson’s future will most likely be on the gridiron. Those talents shouldn’t take away from the hot start he’s had on the hardwood for the unbeaten Hoban Knights. Johnson is an athletic wing who can space the floor and knock down shots off the catch. Another athlete who can thrive in transition as well, Johnson would be a really intriguing basketball prospect if he made basketball his main focus. Watch for Johnson to try and lead Hoban to state titles on the hardwood and gridiron the next few seasons.
