About Joey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game as confident, but humble at the same time. I play with intensity, and a chip on my shoulder.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to always outwork everyone. Although, I have a great work ethic, my personality off the court is kind and humble.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over many years of playing basketball, I have learned to put more trust into my teammates, being a leader (point guard) is also a main trait of mine. Community service means a lot to me and my family, for special holidays, we give back to the people that don’t have what we have.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Over many years or playing basketball, I have faced many challenges of emotions on the court, this includes missing a shot for instance and telling myself that was a bad shot, however, studying my own game play has made emotions for me less and less.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college that believes in me.
