Expert Analysis
Melvin Gates | Prep Hoops Scout
With Beloit Memorial losing several key seniors, this could be Martin’s year to prove he can lead the Knights. After evaluating his game, I see a three-level scorer whose offensive production will be a key part of the team’s success. His mental toughness should also help him navigate adversity as he takes on a larger role. This season will be an opportunity for Martin to show what he can do.

Read EvaluationMark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Martin is yet another quick backcourt performer for Beloit Memorial and his presence in the Purple Knights’ trapping defense creates plenty of havoc for opponents. And when the opposition turns the ball over, as Sun Prairie East did often on Saturday, Martin is more than willing to turn the miscues into quick points on the other end. Martin finished with four baskets and drew four fouls en route to scoring 11 points, the third Beloit Memorial player to finish in double-scoring figures.
